A group of former Altitude Angel executives, Richard Parker, Joe Guibarra and Christian Scheel Struwe have formed a new company, Wardyn Technologies, a threat detection and intelligence company focused on drones and insider threats, serving defence, critical infrastructure, security – especially prisons – and commercial customers.
“Its two products share one core: technology that fuses data from many different sensors and systems into a single picture, then uses AI to pick out what matters. SENTRair® watches the airspace. Forseti watches for the threat that is already through the gate,” said the company in a press announcement. “Both run locally, with no cloud dependency, for sites where connectivity, data sovereignty or cyber security rule out sending data off-site. The company designs and assembles its systems in Great Britain.”
SENTRair® is a multi-sensor data fusion command and control system built around persistent radar surveillance. It combines radar, optical, thermal, acoustic and RF sensors with cooperative sources such as ADS-B and Remote ID to build a real-time local air picture, then detects, tracks and classifies aerial targets automatically. Auto-calibration, auto-terrain mapping and AI-powered tuning keep set-up short and false alarms low.
Operators are alerted when activity enters an area of interest. Every incident is recorded automatically, with after-action reports generated for review. SENTRair® is sensor-agnostic. It supports established standards including ASTERIX and SAPIENT, and its I/O API connects it to a wide range of other security and command and control systems.
Applications include military and naval facilities, airports, prisons, energy sites, ports, industrial sites and major events.
Forseti is a tool which learns normal patrol patterns for each route and officer in a prison, for example, and uses existing cameras to check that the person presenting a badge is the person it belongs to, and flags deviations with the evidence attached. It reports what it observed and leaves a person to decide why, since a late patrol can have an operational, welfare or security explanation. Forseti never ranks staff and keeps no standing risk score on anyone.
Checkpoints use Forseti Wall Tags, cryptographic tags that standard iPhone and Android handsets can read, replacing proprietary wand-based guard tour readers.
