Airwise Solutions and UAS Sentry integrate drone detection and airspace platforms

Airwise Solutions and UAS Sentry have partnered to integrate UAS Sentry’s Nexus Remote ID detection capabilities with the Airwise Nexus platform.

The integration will bring drone detection and identification data into Airwise’s operational common operating picture, alongside information on enterprise drone fleets, airspace, mission activity, telemetry, FAA services and weather, according to the companies.

Airwise said the integration is intended to provide organisations with visibility of both their own drone operations and other aircraft operating within or around their airspace. The companies identified critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, public safety, airports and industrial facilities as potential users.

UAS Sentry Nexus is a modular Remote ID detection platform that can use between three and 18 independently processed antennas through a single LAN or LTE connection. It provides drone detection, geofencing, alerting, classification, historical identification and analytics, with an API for integration with third-party command, control, situational awareness and mapping platforms.

The partnership also connects UAS Sentry’s detection capabilities with Airwise’s drone operations and airspace management tools, including UAS Traffic Management (UTM) functions. The companies said the integration is designed to support deployments ranging from individual facilities to distributed detection networks.
