The British Standards Institution (BSI) is inviting industry feedback on draft guidance and recommendations on the content and minimum information requirements for manuals used in uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) regulatory submissions.
PAS 1907 covers flight manuals, conformity checks and maintenance manuals used for UK SORA based UAS regulatory submissions for SAIL 1-3. It does not cover operations manuals, instructions for the SORA submission process or SAIL 4-6.
BSI says the PAS is of use to UAS designers and operators and may be of interest to third-party organisations supporting UAS designers or operators, such as maintenance and training providers.
The consultation is now open and closes on 12 August 2026.
