US Army awards Anduril the world’s largest ever C-UAS contact – at USD20 billion

The US Army has awarded Anduril Industries a firm-fixed-price contract with a cumulative total of USD20 billion of for the ten-year supply of counter-UAS systems. This is the world’s largest published C-UAS contract.

According to the US Department of War contract award text the contract is “to consolidate current and future commercial solutions—including the proprietary, open-architecture, AI-enabled Lattice suite, integrated hardware, data, computer infrastructure, and technical support services—into a unified, mission-ready capability supporting the Army’s evolving operational and business needs.

“Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of March 12, 2036. U.S. Army.”

The Lattice for Command & Control (C2) is an AI-powered battle management platform built to accelerate complex kill chains.

“Lattice for C2 integrates thousands of sensors and effectors to turn data into decisions at scales and speeds beyond human capacity,” according to Anduril. “Lattice Mesh™ is a decentralized mesh networking capability that securely distributes data across services, domains, platforms, and long distances providing access to critical information in remote, degraded, and low-bandwidth environments at the tactical edge.

“Lattice Mesh connects thousands of Anduril and Third-Party systems across the world in support of real-world operations.”

The second largest recorded C-UAS contact was Poland’s SAN CUAS Programme, worth USD4.2 billion, awarded to a consortium of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) in January 2026 for the delivery of 18 air-defence battery modules to create Europe’s largest anti-drone shield.
