TYTAN and KNDS expand drone defence collaboration

KNDS and TYTAN Technologies are expanding their existing collaboration in the field of drone defence with a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on February 6.

The collaboration follows the integration of TYTAN’s kinetic Interceptor-S into the compartment box of KNDS’ BOXER RCT30. The new MoU commits the companies to collaborate to field systems to protect KNDS land systems and their crews from unmanned aerial threats using TYTAN’s counter drone-on-drone technology.

The cooperation will also cover the joint development of the new European standard for mobile UAS launch systems as well as the further development of counter-drone technologies for military base protection and frontline air defence.
