Unifly has renewed the DroneGuide platform for skeyes, Belgium’s national air navigation service provider. Developed on Unifly’s UTM platform, the updated DroneGuide system integrates new aeronautical data management, visualisation, and UTM readiness capabilities. The new system replaces the previous version of DroneGuide (map.droneguide.be), introducing a modern, data-driven tool that enhances safety and efficiency for drone operations across the country.
The next generation DroneGuide has been designed to provide an intuitive, interactive map interface to explore Belgian airspace and understand operational constraints for drone flights.
Users can view up-to-date geozones and access detailed regulatory information to ensure compliance and enhance safety across all types of operations, from hobbyist flights to commercial missions.
Unifly says the updated public map view delivers comprehensive and easily accessible information on all relevant UAS geozones within Belgium, covering recreational, commercial, and institutional drone operations. Users can click directly on any geozone to open a detailed panel showing flight conditions, applicable regulations and contact information for the responsible authority.
