PELAGUS Co has obtained an uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) operators certificate (CDO-U) from the Civil Aeronautics Authority of Colombia.
Teams from UAV MASTERS and PELAGUS have been working together since January 2024 to develop, structure and document the entire Operational Safety Management System (SMS) and the manuals necessary to comply with Colombia’s civil aviation standards.
The result was a technical and operational framework that allowed PELAGUS to successfully demonstrate its capabilities for complex operations, including beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), night flights, urban operations and drone delivery.
