Terra Drone has won the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award at the Japan Startup Awards 2025.
The Japan Startup Awards recognises companies that have created new businesses with social impact that serve as role models for the next generation of young people and entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) established the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award two years ago to raise awareness of entrepreneurship in the land, infrastructure, transport and tourism sector and to encourage innovation in the sector through the success and entry of startups that provide new technologies and services.
This year, a total of 230 startups and other organisations applied. Terra Drone was chosen by a panel of experts for its innovation in drone traffic management systems and drone platforms for surveying, inspection and agriculture.
