Pyka’s Pelican uncrewed aerial system has delivered critical medical supplies on an autonomous demonstration flight from Seneca, Kansas, to Onaga Hospital.
Working in cooperation with Kelly Hills Unmanned Systems and the Kansas Department of Commerce, the Pelican completed the 21-mile journey to demonstrate the benefits of medical drone deliveries, particularly in hard to reach rural areas. All parties involved are keen for the demonstration to progress into regular operations.
