INVOLI has announced that its VistaTrack real-time air traffic surveillance service, designed specifically to support beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone operations, is now live in the United States.
VistaTrack covers major US metropolitan areas including Dallas, Charlotte, Orlando, San Jose, San Francisco, Tampa, Syracuse and New York City. INVOLI says it is the largest infrastructure deployment ever created to support BVLOS drone flights, with over 550 active receivers worldwide.
The system provides real-time aircraft detection, including ADS-B and UAT, and in selected zones, MLAT tracking of Mode S and Mode A/C aircraft — down to 200 feet AGL. In selected areas, detection of ADS-L, FLARM and RemoteID is also available.
VistaTrack powers the INVOLI.live platform and REST API integration, enabling access through dashboards, ground control software or UTMs.
INVOLI said the system provides “an immediate, practical solution for drone companies operating today” as they await the arrival of Part 108. “VistaTrack allows operators under Part 107 or Part 135 to show regulators that they’re mitigating air risk with professional-grade data.”
In other parts of the world, VistaTrack is used to support SORA applications, and the company said on June 6 that it will also soon be usable in Europe in the context of U-space as a traffic information service.
VistaTrack enables drone operators to detect manned aircraft traffic in real time at low altitudes, set and monitor alert zones for operational safety, access live system health and receiver uptime, back FAA waivers and CONOPS submissions with data, and comply with SORA and future U-space regulations.
