An undisclosed Australian law enforcement agency has selected DroneShield to deliver counter-drone systems as part of a broader initiative to modernise security and mitigate the growing threat from drones.
DroneShield will provide a combination of systems from its range of of hand-held, mobile and expeditionary systems to assist officers to detect, assess, and neutralise rogue drones. The selected technologies are designed for use in a range of operational settings, including protection of critical infrastructure, major public events, sensitive facilities and restricted airspace zones.
The contract supports the Australian Government’s Commonwealth Procurement Rules, which prioritise homegrown innovation and industrial resilience in defence and security.
