OneSky expands Future of Flight programme with new member AnyMile

Drone delivery and logistics company has joined OneSky’s Future of Flight programme. AnyMile, introduced by Mitsubishi Electric, is providing end-to-end drone-based logistics platform and marketplace to combine resource planning and management software with Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM), ground infrastructure, and drones, says the press release. The solution aims to help fleet operators facilitate logistics using drones for commercial and industrial use, including cargo delivery, on-premise inventory transport, disaster management, aerial advertisement, and infrastructure inspections.

Zafer Sahinoglu, VP & GM of Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc., explains, “Ground-based transportation logistics continue to have capacity constraints and are inefficient. We set out to provide a green and efficient mechanism enabling fleet operators to launch and scale their operations profitably, businesses to access fast and reliable cargo delivery, and drone service providers and manufacturers to access qualified fleet operators. With a unified drone-based logistics ecosystem, we are optimistic that this innovative airborne mode of transport will quickly become mainstream. We are thrilled to be working with OneSky, and do believe UTM is a critical component of this ecosystem to achieve safe and scalable BVLOS missions.”

The OneSky Future of Flight programme aims to help vehicles go commercially operational while integrated with air traffic management solutions.
