BlueMark introduces Db120, a “small and powerful” Remote ID add-on

BlueMark has launched a second-generation Remote ID add-on, the db120. The db120 module is approved by the FAA for use in the USA.

Designed to provide a small, light and powerful transponder, the db120 is small – 48 x 38 x 28 mm – and weighs 25 grams. The transponder has a detection range up to 5 km.

The db120 can be pre-ordered for EUR129 ex VAT. Shipment is expected around 7 December 2022.

Remote ID is a technology that transmits key data -such as operator, target and current position- of a flying drone via Bluetooth or WiFi beacons. Consumers can receive this information through a smartphone app. In addition, this information is interesting for law enforcement, airports, but also for other drones to gain better insight into the local airspace.
