Vigilant Aerospace and DronePort Network team for airspace management at US drone ports

Vigilant Aerospace has been announced as a strategic partner by DronePort Network to provide Airspace Management, Detect-and-Avoid, and Unmanned Traffic Management for future drone port projects throughout the United States.

DronePort Network is a system integration and infrastructure development company that creates dedicated autonomous aviation ecosystems for the development, testing and deployment of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) and Advanced Air Mobility aircraft.  The company works with regional centres to leverage existing infrastructure, such as airfields and hangers, to build dedicated drone port facilities for a wide range of uses, from autonomous flight testing and training centres to new air services across both the private and public sector.

DronePort Network provides a range of services designed to safely integrate drones and related services into the economy and national airspace and adheres to FAA requirements when selecting appropriate technology partners.

Vigilant Aerospace’s FlightHorizon provides airspace managers with a 2D or 3D view of all aircraft in the selected airspace using a combination of sensors and data sources to create an airspace safety picture for pilots, airspace managers and command centres, required to meet FAA regulatory requirements for advanced UAS flights.
