Thales has been selected to supply a Ground Master 400 Alpha (GM400α) air surveillance radar as part of Albania’s air surveillance modernisation programme.
The GM400α is designed to track air threats at a range of up to 515 km, with enhanced detection of low-altitude targets including slow-moving uncrewed aerial systems.
The Albania contract is expected to be fulfilled within 14 months.
