SESAR URClearED open day to present research results on 1 July

The SESAR 3 JU research project URClearED is hosting a virtual open day to discuss the real-time simulations on the Remain Well Clear concept integration – on the 1st of July 2022. The event will be held online on Google Meet from 10:00 am to 13:00 – CEST.

This session will present to the audience the real-time simulation exercises carried out in April at CIRA, the  Italian Aerospace Research Center (the coordinator) and DLR, the German Aerospace Center premises. The real-time simulation campaigns aimed at validating the Remain Well Clear prototype integration for airspace classes D to G. URClearED experts, involved during the validation exercises, will report their experience and first feedback, throughout videos and interactive sessions.

If you are involved in the RPAS or in the ATC domains, this event is a good opportunity to get in touch with the latest research developments and to network with other colleagues and experts. Furthermore, if you are interested in scientific applied research involving conflict resolution algorithms and user interface design for control systems, the URClearED Open Day is the right event to give you a concrete vision about the RWC potentialities and application scenarios.

Participation is open and completely free of charge, but registration is needed. To register, please click here.

URClearED aims to define requirements and capabilities for the RWC function of a Detect & Avoid system for unmanned air vehicles into airspace classes D-G. It is a SESAR Joint Undertaking European co-funded project – under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme
