Participants invited to join 5 October GOF2.0 virtual trial demonstrating cellular connectivity

The GOF 2.0 project partners are going to virtually demonstrate how the GOF 2.0 System-of-Systems uses real-time information exchange – such as flight plans, telemetry, alerts, GeoZones, and cellular connectivity coverage – between Drone operators and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) systems so that drones and manned aircraft can safely fly in the same airspace at the same time on 5 October 2021, between 13.00 and 14.30 CET.

Participants are invited to to participate in the GOF 2.0 project Klagenfurt (Austria) Virtual Trial via MS Teams. The trial aims to publicly show for the first time, how the use of airspace by drones works, using UTM systems. In addition, it will show step-by-step how UTM works for both drone operators (Ehang, Threod, CAFA Tech) and the air traffic controller.
