Droniq is entering a partnership with the US-based drone autonomy software platform FlytBase. The partnership enables Droniq to provide cloud-based control software for DJI drones. The software is particularly suitable for operating the DJI Dock.
The Flight control software from FlytBase enables real-time video streaming, which can be integrated into existing video management software. The images or recordings generated by the drone are therefore immediately available. Possible application scenarios include monitoring large events, inspecting critical infrastructure, or conducting emergency drone operations where immediate visual information is needed to make informed decisions.
The software features an automated alert capability. In the event of a security incident, such as an intrusion into a protected area, the drone can automatically fly to the affected location to provide live images and monitor the situation. Additionally, the software supports precise mission planning, allowing drone flights to be adjusted flexibly and in real time. The secure transmission of video data is ensured through the use of modern encryption technologies. FlytBase offers the option to host the software not only on a cloud-based platform but also on the customer’s site.
