Dimetor introduces GNSS threat detection and prevention system

Dimetor has introduced NAVSentry, a GNSS threat detection and prevention system for securing critical operations.

GNSS spoofing and jamming attacks pose a serious threat, with over 40,000 incidents recorded globally each month, compromising systems, disrupting operations and creating safety risks. Using mobile network infrastructure and AI-driven analytics, NAVSentry provides real-time GNSS spoofing and jamming detection.

NAVSentry continuously scans GNSS signals and mobile network data to detect anomalies that indicate interference. By analysing signal integrity and behavior, it identifies potential spoofing or jamming attempts as they occur. The system creates a live digital twin of the GNSS environment, using real-time data, simulations, and machine learning to map signal behaviour. Once interference is detected, NAVSentry identifies the type of disruption (spoofing, jamming, or environmental factors), maps affected regions to assess operational impact, and characterizes and pinpoints the source of interference for faster resolution.

The system can deliver immediate notifications to air traffic control, mission command centres, and other automated systems. These alerts enable operators to take corrective action, reducing downtime and operational risks.
