The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Innovation Advisory Services team is expanding. It is looking for five individuals to join the Innovation Advisory Services team, acting as innovation advisors guiding and supporting industry towards regulatory readiness, guiding it with the aim of sharing knowledge and helping to recommend future regulatory frameworks for remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS). The Innovation Advisors will assist industry with developing innovative solutions for RPAS and greener ways of flying through advances in electric and autonomous flight technologies.
The specialists will be working with a broad range of organisations including the consortia which have received funding from the Future Flight Challenge, the National Police Air Services, and many other industry stakeholders.
This opportunity brings together technologies in electrification, digitisation, and autonomy to build new modes of air travel and capability.
