Among guidance published in Volume 1 of the U-space Airspace Risk Assessment Method and Guidelines document, released by the Eurocontrol Innovation Hub and the drone programme team of the CORUS-XUAM project, the document sets out how states can perform the airspace risk assessment (ARAs) of U-space airspace design.
It describes a systematic process for conducting an ARA through its three steps, a preparatory phase, a reference scenario and an assessment phase. ARA guidelines target safety, security, privacy and environmental protection for U-space airspace.
