Europe’s UAM Cities Community to be part of CORUS-XUAM advisory board

The European Unmanned Air Mobility (UAM) Cities Community (UIC2) body has joined the CORUS-XUAM Advisory board. UIC2 is part of Europe’s Smart Cities Marketplace initiative. The development will lead to greater involvement by local authorities of European cities and regions in the SESAR CORUS-XUAM research programme. CORUS-XUAM is a two-year Very Large Demonstration (VLD) project that will demonstrate how U-space services and solutions could support integrated Urban Air Mobility (UAM) flight operations.

The Smart Cities Marketplace is a market-changing undertaking supported by the European Commission bringing together cities, industries, SMEs, investors, researchers and other smart city actors. The community includes multiple action clusters and initiatives across Europe.
