Indian defence tech startup Armory has received an order from the Indian Ministry of Defence for its SURGE counter-uncrewed aerial system technology, according to national news sources.
Available in hand-held or mounted options, the SURGE platform employs proprietary ‘Samaritan OS’ to detect, track and neutralise rogue drones using AI technology.
Indian media outlets report that the contract is valued at around USD 10.5 million.
