In a 14 September announcement, the United States Department of Defense has named the industry participants supporting Falcon Peak 26.2, a US Northern Command and Joint Interagency Task Force 401 counter-small uncrewed aircraft systems (C-sUAS) experiment being conducted at Yuma Proving Ground from 31 August until 25 September.
Falcon Peak 26.2 is the fourth operational evaluation in the series and the first conducted at Yuma Proving Ground. It is designed to demonstrate new technologies, expand focus on low-collateral C-sUAS defeat capabilities, enable collaboration with key partners and provide immediate feedback to accelerate systems development. This iteration of Falcon Peak targets the specific, complex drone challenges unique to the Southern Border.
