NexTech Solutions (NTS) has acquired Boomslang Aerospace, a developer of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and counter-UAS technology for defence and security applications.
NTS said in a 24 August press release that Boomslang’s UAS and C-UAS technology, including the Mongoose C-UAS system, would “complement the modular C-UAS architecture of systems already delivered by NTS”.
NTS secured a strategic investment from Clairvest, a private equity investor based in Toronto, in 2023. The Boomslang transaction marks the fifth acquisition NTS has completed since the Clairvest investment. NTS has locations in Huntsville, Tampa and Northern Virginia.
