The US Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS), is seeking to identify potential sources capable of providing a 50mm weapon based air defence counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform.
Interested parties are requested to outline their existing or conceptual capabilities to integrate a 50mm ammunition solution to effectively track, engage and defeat Class 1, 2, and 3 UAS threats by 31 August, 2026.
In May, the US Army’s Fort Bragg Joint Innovation Outpost tested low-cost counter-uncrewed aerial system solutions that use legacy Army weaponry.
