RSE Ventures and Ondas Inc have invested in FPF Defense, developer of the SmartFlak integrated counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) anchored by the Hammerhead interceptor, which is designed to destroy Shahed-class one-way attack drones at scale.
The SmartFlak system features autonomous launch, sophisticated onboard autonomy and a kinetic interceptor engineered for US mass production, with a cost per shot in the low tens of thousands of dollars.
As part of the investment, FPF is relocating its headquarters to West Palm Beach in Florida, joining Ondas, which has already established its headquarters there.
