Military and civilian experts, industry representatives and government officials gathered at the headquarters of NATO’s Allied Air Command on 30 June and 1 July for AIRCOM Industry Day 2026, strengthening cooperation on counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) in support of NATO’s Enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA) Eastern Sentry along the Eastern Flank.
Representatives from 34 companies and participants from more than 20 countries attended the event. An exhibition provided a forum for operational experts and industry to exchange knowledge, examine emerging technologies and identify practical solutions.
Deputy Commander AIRCOM, Lieutenant General Guillaume Thomas, said the UAS threat has evolved faster than many structures, processes and procurement cycles were designed to handle, making AIRCOM Industry Day vital.
Through panel discussions, technical briefings and technology demonstrations, participants examined the full C-UAS engagement chain – from detection, identification and tracking to mitigation and neutralisation. There was a focus on interoperability, C2 and integration across NATO’s air, land, maritime, cyber and space domains.
