Counter-Shahed interceptor manufacturer raises EUR 50M in funding round

Alta Ares has announced a EUR 50 million funding round. The company currently develops and deploys an anti-Shahed type drone interceptor and a high-speed missile interceptor.

The round was led by Air Street Capital, a leading AI-first venture capital firm, alongside Cherry Ventures, OTB Ventures and Harpoon Ventures. 

The company intends to use the capital injection to increase production at its facilities in France and Ukraine, and open new offices in the Middle East and Asia.
