China unveils AU100 C-UAS system featuring jamming, net launcher and laser

Multiple Chinese press reports highlight the appearance at the Intelligent Military Technology Exhibition of the AU100 integrated counter-drone system, capable of detecting, tracking, jamming, and shooting down drones from a single vehicle.

According to the en.youth news site:

“The AU100 integrated antidrone system, developed by Wuhan Optics Valley company Puzhou Technology, became a highlight of the exhibition. This vehicle based system integrates detection, engagement, communication, deployment, and data functions. It can accurately detect and use multiple countermeasures against unauthorized drones within a range of 5 km. For hardkill options, a high energy laser is available; for soft kill options, it offers multiband directional jamming, navigation spoofing, protocol hijacking, and more. For extremely fast FPV racing drones, it is also equipped with a loitering net launcher. The system can serve a wide range of applications including urban security, border protection, airports and seaports, and major security events.
