DroneShield has received a contract from the United States defence department’s counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). The contract has an initial value of USD 19.3 million, with an additional USD 5.6 million in options over a five-year period.
The contract covers the supply of mobile and fixed site C-UAS systems, including hardware, subscriptions, warranties and services. DroneShield said the hardware is available from the company’s existing planned production, with a series of deliveries scheduled for 2026 and 2027.
The contract also requires DroneShield to purchase and install third party interoperable solutions.
Payments will be received for the initial value from second half of 2026 through the first half of 2027.
