Sweden’s Nordic Air Defence is to establish a local presence in Poland, including opening a Polish office (Nordic Air Defence Poland), and is seeking to establish assembly capabilities for its interceptor systems in the country.
The company has also signed a letter of intent with Polish defence tech companies Tantalit and WB Group regarding counter-drone technologies. The collaboration includes the integration, production, sales and deployment of Nordic Air Defence’s kinetic interceptor Kreuger 100XR within WB Group’s counter-drone portfolio. The companies will also explore integration of the interceptor into Tantalit’s AI-enabled command-and-control technology enabling sensor fusion, AI-assisted targeting and coordinated counter-drone defence.
The partnership will pursue industrial cooperation opportunities, including potential production or assembly in Poland.
