Wrap Technologies has signed a distribution agreement with Crystal Works Private Limited of India, which includes the pre-order purchase of Wrap’s drone first responder interdiction systems (DFR-X).

Wrap says its “C-UAS drone platform extends the company’s non-lethal response capabilities into the aerial domain”. DFR-X is designed to combine detection, situational awareness and non-lethal interdiction options within a unified operating framework.

The Crystal Works agreement marks Wrap’s first commercial entry into the Indian market.

The agreement also includes Wrap’s handheld non-lethal restraint tool and virtual reality-based training platform.
