New French decree sets out zones where data capture by aircraft is prohibited

The French government has published a new decree that defines new zones where it is forbidden to capture and process data from an aircraft. As of November 20, the list of ‘ZICAD’ zones includes approximately twenty new entries. In addition, coordinates have changed for existing zones.

The former decree of June 26, 2024, establishing the list of areas where the capture and processing of data collected from an aircraft is prohibited, is replaced by the new decree.
