The Innovate Africa Challenge on Civil Drones is now open for applications. The African Drone Forum, an Innovate Africa Challenge partner, is appealing for solutions to benefit agriculture, green infrastructure and climate goals.
Up to EUR 50,000 in funding is available, as well as training and mentorship, and implementation support in Rwanda or Côte d’Ivoire. The challenge is open to organisations in Smart Africa member states.
The Innovate Africa Challenge is organised by Impact Hub Berlin and Smart Africa, and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as part of the Triangular cooperation for Digital innovation Made in Africa.
Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2025.
