DroneShield has announced an integration partnership with Sentrycs, introducing protocol-level cyber takeover, controlled landing and forensic capabilities for the DroneSentry counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform.
This expanded capability adds to DroneShield’s radio frequency detection and smart disruption defeat capabilities. Sentrycs joins existing partners Echodyne, Bosch and Teledyne FLIR on detection, and Epirus on directed-energy defeat.
The Sentrycs integration includes a new technology layer for detection and defeat capability in the DroneSentry-C2 platform as well as optimisation of DroneSentry-C2’s SensorFusionAI engine to ingest ‘cyber-RF’ detection data.
The combined C-UAS capabilities integrate radar, RF detection, optical and thermal sensors, cross-referencing data from multiple modalities while adding a cyber takeover capability that severs connections to remote controllers, reprogrammes drone home positions and guides drones to land at designated safe zones for recovery and analysis.
