Echodyne has been selected as the radar provider within the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) Project Land 156, the Australian government’s effort to equip the ADF with continuous counter-drone capabilities.
Echodyne will contribute radar expertise to the project and its recently announced systems integration team leader, Leidos Australia, and alongside EOS Australia, which already incorporates Echodyne radar into its Slinger RWS, Acacia Systems, L3Harris Technologies and Department 13.
Echodyne’s 4D metamaterials electronically scanned array (MESA) radars are suitable for supporting counter-drone initiatives, locking optical sensors for ‘eyes on object’ and reliable precision tracking for mitigation platforms and effectors.
