Lantern UAS has been awarded a contract with the US Army to evaluate operational requirements and demonstrate the feasibility of Lantern’s AI-based counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) approach.
The company’s research will focus on scalable, modular systems that can adapt across mission requirements, from defending forward-operating bases to protecting urban critical infrastructure in the United States.
Lantern’s AI-based approach uses machine learning and data fusion to provide threat identification and decision support. By fusing radar, RF, acoustic and optical sensor data into a single picture, generating risk-ranked response options in real time, Lantern UAS offers a streamlined, ‘operator-first’ interface for decision-making.
