At today’s Airspace World in Lisbon, Thales has announced the latest version of its EagleShield and Gamekeeper counter-UAS systems for airports. In the latest iteration, the network comprises a 3D long-range holographic Gamekeeper radar, a long range electro-optical sensor, radio frequency sensors and a command and control centre which can be integrated into both civil and military networks.
According to Thales officials at the show, this provides airports with the ability to detect rogure drones at up to 18km, either connected or non-connected drones.
