The BBC reports today that Russia’s aviation watchdog Rosaviatsia issued an announcement on Telegram regarding the closure of Moscow’s four airports due to an overnight drone attack.
The announcement said that the airports were closed for several hours for safety reasons, but have since reopened.
Ukraine has neither confirmed nor denied the Moscow strikes but its defence ministry said on May 6 that the estimated combat losses of Russians over the 24 hours was 1,430 persons, 145 UAVs and 61 artillery systems.
