Oregon UAS Accelerator opens applications for Summer 2025 cohort

The Oregon UAS Accelerator has opened applications for its Summer 2025 Cohort. The accelerator is looking for startups with market potential for the uncrewed aerial systems industry.

The 12-week, on-site, immersive programme offers innovators and companies at Technology Readiness Level 6 or higher the opportunity to access over USD 165,000 in benefits, including a USD 40,000 non-dilutive grant, expert mentorship, and access to the Pendleton UAS Test Range.

Running from June 9 to September 10, 2025, the programme is designed to help innovators refine their technology, validate their solutions, and prepare for market. The cohort concludes with the Pendleton Investor Round-Up, where participants will pitch their businesses live to over 25 investors and strategic partners.

The Oregon UAS Accelerator’s Spring 2025 cohort was announced in February and includes DroneSpotter, offering airspace awareness as a service through custom IoT hardware that tracks drone Remote ID signals, providing real-time and historical data via a cloud-based platform; and Ziz Defense Company, which is creating an AI-powered defence architecture for detecting and neutralising UAS threats, combining acoustic triangulation and high-precision LiDAR technology.

The accelerator’s separate counter-drone challenge, Proven in Pendleton, recently closed to applicants.
