Oklahoma Research institute partners with uAvionix and DronePort to demonstrate safe flights

Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE) R&D engineers successfully conducted test flights of uncrewed aerial systems from Osage, LCC Skyway 36 to Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Hel Skyway 36 to Helmerich Research Center. The flights utilized partnerships with uAvionix Corporation and DronePort Network to ensure safe flights between the two points.

After a strict testing regime, the final demonstration showcased a fully autonomous flight from Skyway 36 to the LaunchPad center. Tests like this provide the foundation for the Skyway Range and future advanced air mobility efforts.
