ICAO announces Advanced Air Mobility Symposium AAM 2024, 9-12 September 2024, Montreal

From 9 to 12 September 2024, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will host its first Advanced Air Mobility Symposium (AAM 2024) at the ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Canada.

This symposium will bring together government officials, industry leaders, academia experts, and international organizations to deliberate on global harmonization and interoperability in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). ICAO aims to shape the future of AAM on a global scale. As part of ICAO’s commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and the evolution of air transportation, it has also announced three outreach initiatives to align with this vision:
1.  𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Capture the essence of AAM through your lens! Share your stunning AAM-related photos with us and showcase the beauty of this innovative sector.

2.  𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Calling university students, scholars and researchers to submit your ground-breaking academic papers on AAM. Let your knowledge soar and contribute to the future of aviation!

3.  𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢  𝗣𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Engineering students from across Canada are invited to submit a digital and/or physical poster presenting a successful design prototype on AAM and the future of air mobility.
