Pablo Airlines completed a long-distance drone delivery demonstration from Jeju Seogwipo Port to Udo Tianjin Port covering a distance of 57.5 km in early November 2019. The demonstration was approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and lasted 1 hour and 56 minutes. Partners included Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC), Repollux, Jeyang Air Shipping, and Anadron.
Pablo Airlines’ drone solution relies on LTE-Sat communications; a ground control system which is designed to support multiple drones, and an integrated delivery application to track and monitor the drone in real-time. The company’s hybrid drone is designed to carry out delivery services from any location.
