French transport ministry issues call for proposals under Propulse acceleration programme

French acting Minister for Transport Clement Beaune has announced the third edition of the government’s Propulse acceleration programme funded by the Agence de l’innovation pour les Transports.

Applications can be submitted up to 13 October 2023.

The Propulse programme aims to support the scaling up of innovations in the transport sector, with the support of the state administrations in charge and the partners of the Innovation Agency for Transport.

This third call for transport proposals targets the following areas:

  • Sustainable Transport call for proposals, which aims to support innovative projects

at the prototype/demonstrator stage, contributing to the introduction of sustainable, low-carbon

carbon-free mobility solutions;

  • Multimodality and Intermodality, which aims to accelerate the deployment of

of efficient multimodality and intermodality for the benefit of users and local

regions;

  • Data Sharing call, which aims to accelerate the deployment of

data sharing solutions within the mobility ecosystem.

The transport ministry is organising a webinar on 13 September 2023 to present the call for projects.

From 20 November 2023, the finalists will be invited to present their project to a panel of independent experts, followed by a question-and-answer session.

From 11 December 2023, juries will select the winning projects.
