Altitude Angel will support the inaugural UK Emergency Robotics Responders Organisation (UKERRO) Summit 2025 this month.
To help ensure safe and coordinated drone operations during the event, UKERRO will be managing permissions through Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM Approval Services. A dedicated land zone at Manchester FRS Training & Safety Centre will enable safe and scheduled take-off and landings even with multiple drones in operation.
“Drones provide valuable oversight of a developing situation enabling a faster, safer, and efficient emergency response,” Altitude Angel said. “However, their use can be restricted when other (non-emergency) drones are flown nearby hampering the emergency services efforts and this can put lives at risk. This event gives practitioners from the emergency services and volunteer organisations the chance to exchange ideas, share methodology and view relevant technology in realistic scenarios, enhancing their expertise in using drones effectively.”
