The US Air Force is seeking Chinese-made DJI drones for counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) training at Frances E. Warren Air Force Base.
Specifically, the Air Force has a requirement for two each of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone Quadcopter with Fly More kit combo bundle, DJI Mini 3 Pro and DJI Avata 2 Fly More combo as well as six drone payload release airdrop system dropping devices.
The DJI drones will be used by the ‘red team’ to test and refine the C-UAS capabilities of the 90th Missile Security Operations Squadron.
The US government intends to award a firm, fixed-price commercial award. Responses are invited by August 24.
