Xponential Europe 2026 – ADLC granted LUC for (dangerous) cargo drone operations

ADLC, a drone logistics company in Belgium, has announced that it has obtained a Light UAS Operator Certificate (LUC) for the transport of (dangerous) goods by cargo drones – “a major breakthrough that places the company among a very small group of highly advanced drone operators in Europe and beyond,” said the company in a press release.

“This certification represents a critical step forward for ADLC, enabling the company to self-authorize complex drone operations, including the development and deployment of new aerial transport routes and corridors. The achievement significantly accelerates ADLC’s mission to build scalable, safe, and efficient drone logistics solutions for high-value and sensitive cargo” said Rayan Quintaes, Co-founder & CEO at ADLC.

The official handover of the LUC certificate took place during the XPONENTIAL Drone Conference in Germany, where it was presented by Ms. Patricia Van Acker – Head of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport (Belgium). This moment marks not only a milestone for ADLC, but also a significant advancement for Belgium’s position in the European drone ecosystem” said Van Acker.

The certification process was supported by Unifly Consulting.
