The team responsible for the U-ELCOME DSD Project’s U-space Implementation Handbook has announced that a closing meeting took place at the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub recently.
The document has been developed within the framework of U-ELCOME, serving as a guide and reference for U-space implementation in Europe. It is intended for service providers, drone operators, authorities and all stakeholders involved in the deployment of u-space operations across Europe.
U-ELCOME has conducted multiple flight campaigns in recent months which have allowed the team to create a more mature version of the handbook, using lessons learned and feedback received from these campaigns.
Further details are expected in October, when U-ELCOME’s achievements are presented at a two day event at EUROCONTROL’s headquarters in Brussels.
