Sincronía Logística and Wingcopter plan to begin regular drone-based delivery operations with the Red Cross in Mexico later this year.
Initially, the Mexican pharmaceutical logistics provider will use a fleet of Wingcopter 198 drones to transport medicine and medical equipment over a distance of eight kilometres.
Following successful flights with the Red Cross in Japan, Wingcopter, in collaboration with Sincronía Logística, demonstrated medical drone delivery to a delegation of healthcare professionals from the Mexican state of Querétaro in August.
